Pets in Omaha and its new non-profit organization, Kirby’s Hope, will host the 2016 Shelter Aid Donation Drive on October 8. The drive will benefit three area animal shelters: The Nebraska Humane Society, Midlands Humane Society (Council Bluffs) and Town & Country Humane Society (Papillion).
From 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 8, join us at Plaza Buick/GMC where donations will be collected for the shelters. The drive will take place in the parking lot on the northeast corner of the Plaza campus, 11911 I Street in Omaha.
Each shelter has provided a list of their most needed items – see below.
Nebraska Humane Society
- soft dog treats
- canned chicken
- one gallon Ziplock bags
- dog toys (washable and durable ones only, please)
- cat wand toys
Town & Country Humane Society

Gift cards (gas for their transport van, gift cards for Home Depot, Menards for maintenance issues).

Dog toys (Nyla bones and hard toys)

Cat items (breakaway solid color cat collars, cat nip mice toys, cat wands)

Office supplies (13 gallon draw string garbage bags, clipboards, paper for printer, paper towels, toilet paper)
