A while back we introduced you to Sven, Children’s Hospital & Medical Center’s first facility/service dog. Sven provides support to patients and staff on the Children’s Hospital & Medical Center campus.

Recently, Sven and company welcomed a second facility dog, Sansa the Goldendoodle. Sansa was specially trained by Canine Assistants in Atlanta, Georgia.
Debbie Snyder is now Sansa’s handler and a she’s also a child life specialist. In this Omaha.com article, Snyder said that Sven, the hospital’s first full-time facility dog, had proven popular and was seeing a lot of patients.
Sansa will be a welcome addition to the Children’s Hospital & Medical Center pack, we’re sure.
