This weekend, check out any of these three pet events and support our rescues, shelters, and people who make them go.
On Saturday, August 4, the annual Canine Carnival and Car Show will be at the Nebraska Humane Society (89th and Fort in Omaha). All proceeds from the event will go towards the shelter’s Walk for the Animals campaign and activities available include:
- canine games like bowling and a peanut butter lick-off
- family fun activities like face painting
- of course, the car show (enter for $20)

Also on Saturday, support MidAmerica Boston Terrier during an always fun, end of the summer Birthday Bash. Details for this event are below.
And last, but not least, visit Woof & Whiskers (south side of 147th and W Maple Road) for an adoption event with the Good Life Bulldog Rescue. While you’re there, shop around and wish W&W a happy 1st Birthday!
